Azure applications, deployment, and ongoing operations
We configure, deploy, monitor, and support the applications we deliver. Our demonstrated experience includes Azure services for a UK life insurance company and private cloud operations for the founders' Xexec engagement.
- Azure application delivery
- Infrastructure configuration
- Monitoring and ongoing support
- Agreed working-hours support
Azure delivery since 2022
- Built a web app, mobile app, and website for a UK life insurance company, with a .NET Core backend and website hosted on Azure App Service.
- Configured Azure-managed MySQL, Azure Front Door, Blob Storage, Microsoft Entra ID, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Handled deployment, infrastructure configuration, ongoing monitoring, and support.
- The applications support policy self-service, rewards, vouchers, news, and support chat. Additional components include quote journeys and a claims calculator.
Experience operating long-lived systems
- The founders and team managed private cloud servers for Xexec while developing and supporting its rewards platform from 2008 to 2025.
- They coordinated integrations and incidents with hosting, payment, and identity providers.
- They supported security audits and penetration tests, completing required remediation. This is delivery experience, not a security certification.
- The Azure client remains anonymous. Xexec experience belongs to the founders and team rather than being E2's corporate history.
How an engagement is agreed
- Begin with a free qualification call and scoped paid discovery where an existing system needs assessment.
- Agree environments, release responsibilities, hosting locations, and South African access to client data before work begins.
- Use partner- or client-controlled environments where practical, individual accounts, and MFA where supported.
- Developer allocation, start dates, and working-hours support response targets are agreed per engagement. Ongoing maintenance can be covered by a retainer.
