E2 Innovativ Informatik GmbH is registered in Zug, Switzerland, and signs contracts and invoices clients and consultancy partners. The founders provide operational oversight and management from South Africa.
E2 subcontracts development to UME, the South African engineering business founded by Martin and Natalie Ernst, who are also part owners of E2. The delivery team comprises three senior developers. Allocation and start dates are agreed for each engagement.
Our founders and team built and supported the Xexec rewards platform from 2008 to 2025. This is the founders' delivery experience, rather than E2's corporate history.

The People Behind E2
E2 is run by Martin Ernst and Natalie Ernst from South Africa through a Swiss-registered company based in Zug.

Martin Ernst
Martin holds a BSc Honours in Actuarial Science and has programmed since age eight. He has led teams of senior developers for 20 years. He combines hands-on engineering with architecture, code reviews, estimation, and technical leadership, and is the main technical contact throughout an engagement.

Natalie Ernst
Natalie holds a BSc in Computer Science and a BA Honours in Psychology. She has 25 years of experience as a developer and has played a central role in the team's long-term client engagements. She helps shape E2's direction and works with clients and partners on estimates, project management, delivery, and ongoing support.
